Why GoodlyEarth?

Why GoodlyEarth you ask?  I remember years ago thinking to myself that I wanted to have a purpose in life.  Maybe it was a mid-life crisis.  I got to a point where I was thinking, "What do I want to be remembered for?"  So I thought to myself, "What brings me happiness?"  Right off the bat I think of my family but then I thought, "What makes my family happy?"  Then it dawned on me, I am happiest when I make other people happy.  I like to serve and help others.  I also try to be funny.  I think I am funny.  Would you believe me if I said that I dabbled in stand up comedy for a bit?  I remember looking out at the audience and feeling an overwhelming sense of satisfaction watching people laugh.  For a moment, their troubles were left behind and they were in a good place.  So thus was born the name, GoodlyEarth.  I did not want to think small, and there is nothing bigger than the Earth.  Why can't we be kind,  pleasant...GOOD?  Why can't we be....GOODLY?

I have used the name on my Reddit account, I started on Imgur, and then I went to TikTok and Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.  Basically, you will find the name everywhere.  Just google it, trust me.  So here is my new website and it has the name GoodlyEarth.  Here you will find projects and art and just anything and everything that is good.  So if you are here, I guarantee you will enjoy my writings and my projects and my art.  I will show you how it is done.  I will also show you the few times I have been on television.  Being on tv is a lot of fun.  

There are times that you will see and hear of my family which consists of my wife, three beautiful daughters and my young spunky son.  I also have a son in law and a soon to be son in law.  I am glad they are a part of the family because I have been outnumbered for too long.  So sit back and relax and enjoy, unless you are going to make projects with me then you need to get up and grab your tools.
